SUMMER COACHES APPROVAL - ALL BENCH PERSONNEL All individuals who engage in coaching activities at a NCAA-certified boys's summer basketball event must be approved through the NCAA Coaches' Approval Process. NCAA staff members who are employed at a summer event are not required to complete this process, but all other individuals, including high school, 11th Grade college and prep school coaches are required to obtain the requisite approval. The approval process consists of an application, criminal background verification, an authorization for release of information and an NCAA rules educational component. NCAA BASKETBALL CERTIFICATION SYSTEM - TEAM ROSTER All teams participating at a NCAA certified event must register online prior to participating in the event. Coaches are expected to keep their online rosters updated. The same address and telephone number cannot be utilized for multiple athletes. Failure to register or to submit all required information will result in the team being denied participation in all NCAA certified events. Reminder: After you register your team and enter your roster, you need to check off which certified events you will be attending. Be sure to click on our tournament name so that we have access to your roster. Team Coaches Team Registration All teams participating at an NCAA certified event must register online prior to reporting to participate in the event. Coaches are expected to keep their online rosters updated. The same address and telephone number cannot be utilized for multiple athletes. Coaches will need to "opt in" to all events in which the team will participate. Registration on this site does not register the team with the events operator, coaches will still need to contact the event directly. Failure to register or to submit all required information in the NCAA BBCS system will result in the team being denied participation in all NCAA certified summer events.
